John Murphy does a great job with inspecting and cleaning furnace.
The guys showed up right on time and were very courteous. They recommended some minor improvements, made one of them and replaced my filter.
Jeff did a great job and had great familiarity with our furnace even though it is not a new unit! He did a great job inspecting, maintaining and cleaning the furnace. Thanks Jeff!
On time, efficient, neat and tidy. set up next apt for AC....now it is already on my calendar.
John Murphy did a great job and is easy to work with.
Mr. Patrick Ortmann should have called me before performing the service!
Corey was helpful, thorough, good at explaining what was being done and what could be done. He was pleasant and cheerful. A totally enjoyable experience, and it is noticeably helpful (increased airflow) already.
I was so impressed with the service I received. The service representative was so thorough and professional. I was so impressed that I signed up for their service contract,
Cleaned & checked condensing gas furnace. Inspected heat exchanger & flue venting. cleaned burners & flame sensor. Checked voltage & amp draw of motors. Test capacitor. Checked drain. Blew out PVC drain. Checked filter. Clean and check humidifier, replace pad, checked water flow and drain. Suggestions: Need to add humidifier to maintenance plan at next renewal.
I found flame sensor current to low. Also, furnace is in need of cleaning. Replaced flame sensor. Tested operation. Temperature rise very high. I replaced customer’s air filter. Checked temperature rise. 56. I found return air duct is open where it is against the wall!! Apparently had a return air vent on the other side of the wall. wall Has been closed off! System is relying on only the return air duct that comes down from the attic. This only remaining ducting is too small for this equipment. Return duct pressure: -.35 inches water column. Suggestions: need to schedule first visit for maintenance plan purchased today. Customer would like a price to replace the furnace and to correct the duct issues.

I found disconnect pull-out switch missing!! I turned off the breaker at main panel, but still had voltage to one leg! Check voltage at circuit breaker in panel: no voltage, but still has voltage at one leg outside! I wired around missing pull out switch for testing. I found condenser fan motor bad! Shorted windings. Also, compressor run capacitor is bad. Open circuit. Also found system very low on Freon. Air-conditioner is 29 years old. Uses older type of Freon. Work suggested: recommend replacing air conditioner.
Returned after 6 o’clock in the evening to replace GFCI outlet. System had shut off again due to condensate pump float safety. Condensate pump was temporarily plugged into an outlet controlled by the light switch!! Installed new outlet. Tested condensate pump. Thermostat should be OK.
Cleaned and checked air conditioner. Checked drain. Checked voltage and amperage draw of motors. Tested capacitors. Checked Freon level. Found wire connection overheating at capacitor. Found superheat off target. Also, Schrader caps missing. Back-flushed condenser coil with Water-Saber. I topped off Freon(410A) level and installed new brass caps. Compressor:11.6A . Condenser fan: 0.68A . Blower: 5.8A . ambient: 81 . suction line: 38. metering device: piston . Suction pressure: 114(38). Return air: 67.5 . supply air: 50.5. wet bulb:59 . Work suggested: remove box setting on the drain line. Freon leak search: $189. Freon leak repair: $?
